Kashmir University Applications for Financial Assistance under Students Aid Corpus Fund Scheme (SACFS): Check Details Here
Applications on the prescribed format are invited from the desirous eligible students of the batch-2022 of the Main & the Satellite Campuses of the University for grant of Financial Assistance under Students Aid Corpus Fund Scheme (SACFS). The students whose family income is less than Rs 2.0 lac per annum shall be eligible to apply for the financial assistance. However, preferential order for the financial assistance under the scheme shall be as under:
👉Orphan/s belonging to AAY Category
👉Orphan/s belonging to BPL Category
👉Candidates belonging to AAY Category
👉Candidates belonging to BPL Category
👉Candidates belonging to abandoned/broken family category
Other eligible candidates
PROCEDURE/STEPS TO BE FOLLOWED:
i) The candidates belonging from AAY/BPL category shall have to attach the relevant certificate/s issued by the concerned Tehsildar with the application form.
ii) The candidates claiming financial assistance under orphan category shall attach death certificate in support of his/her claim.
The eligible students shall submit the applications on the prescribed format duly completed in all respects in the offices of respective HOD’s/Directors/Coordinators in accordance with the criteria laid down in the relevant statutes by or before 14-07-2023.
The concerned HOD’S/ Directors/ Coordinators shall forward the applications duly
recommended by departmental committee to the office of the Dean Academic Affairs by or
before 21-07-2023.

The concerned HOD’s/Directors/Coordinators can recommend upto a maximum of four
students depending upon the intake capacity of the programme/course as per the following:
i) Upto 100: 2 students for the academic session
ii)Upto 150: 3 students for the academic session
ii)Upto 200: 4 students for the academic session

Note: Students who are in receipt of financial assistance from any Government/Semi-
Government agency shall not be eligible for the aforesaid assistance.
